Dr. Miller's Message
CLAYCOMO LIBRARY
Need help with your taxes?
As we enter the month of February, we are going to be challenged
with the weather. If you are online, your student has plenty of sites they
can connect to practice reading and math skills. If you are not online,
reading is always a great activity. The days that are added to the end of
the year are not as meaningful to your student's progress as the days they
might miss in February.
The kids have done such a great job in making learning the
priority at Topping. This month I have challenged the students to be
nicer than they need be to make our school a great place for all kids to be.
We are struggling with attendance and having kids at school when they are
healthy. So let's work together to get all healthy kids to school
everyday.
Thanks to all the Dads and other caring adults that came out for
our "Donuts for Dads" event. It was a great way to start the
day and the kids were thrilled to have you here to show off the work they are
doing. Feel free to come back and share with us. We look forward to
parent involvement in all of our activities. Come for lunch if you have a
day where that will work in your schedule. As always, if you have any
questions, comments or concerns, give me a call or come by.
