Dr. Miller's Message
It is a great time to be a Bulldog. We will be working very
hard this month with our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders taking the MAP test.
These students will all be tested in the areas of Communication Arts and
Math and our 5th graders will also be tested in Science. They have been
preparing and are ready to make us proud as they demonstrate their learning.
Our 5th graders did a wonderful job in the Greater Kansas City Science and Engineering Fair. Out of the 20 projects we could submit, the students earned 8 gold medals, 11 silver medals and 1 bronze. We also have some division winners and other special awards. This is an amazing, hard working group of students.
There are some tweaks to the lunch schedule during MAP testing. If you
are planning to come and eat with your child from April 21st-May2nd, please call
the office to verify your student's lunchtime.
We have several fun
activities for kids and families on the schedule before the end of the year.
Please feel free to come and join us.
We do have a bond and levy issue on the April 8th ballot.
Please feel free to visit the district website or give me a call to get
more information about what the bond and levy would do here at Topping as well
as in the district.
Thanks for all you do to support your student with his/her
learning. Together we can help your children grow and glow in their
learning.
